Children’s Dentistry – When to Start

There are benefits for your children from their very first dental visit, but when exactly should that be? We encourage you to book an appointment around 6 months after their first tooth comes through. This way we can monitor their development from an early age and identify and resolve any issues early on. Regular visits will also help to shape your children’s oral health habits, so 6 monthly appointments are encouraged after their initial visit.

We go beyond great oral care and advice, and do what we can to make everyone feel comfortable. We know that early dentist visits can seem daunting so we aim to create a caring and relaxing environment. As well as introducing them to great habits and monitoring their development, our services for children include:

Our Bulk Billing Policy Means Affordable Care

We understand that between knee-scrapes and the common cold, your children will need regular medical services. That’s why we bulk bill patients who are eligible for the Child Dental Benefits Schedule. The CDBS is for children between 2 and 17 years old and provides general dental treatment to the value of $1000 over 2 years.
